Slides (curriculum) - Feb. 19, 2016This educational activity is intended for an international audience of healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with heart failure.
The goal of this activity is to review the current developments, as well as the unmet needs and areas for improvement, in clinical care in heart failure. This curriculum is developed as a result of the Heart failure Summit held in October 2015.











































































































The goal of this activity is to review the current developments, as well as the unmet needs and areas for improvement, in clinical care in heart failure. This curriculum is developed as a result of the Heart failure Summit held in October 2015.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the burden of heart failure and understand its reasons
- Understand the difficulties in preventing, diagnosing and treating patients with heart failure
- Understand the need to improve a multidisciplinary approach when dealing with heart failure patients
- Describe the role of new generation therapies that interrupt the vicious pathophysiology cycle leading to worsening of heart failure
