In this live webcast, prof. John Eikelboom summarized recent clinical evidence on non-vitamin K antagonist anticoagulants / direct oral anticoagulants (NOACs or DOACs) in patients with both atrial fibrillation (AF) and venous thromboembolism (VTE). The webcast was moderated by prof. Saskia Middeldorp and dr. Hanna Pohjantähti-Maaroos. The panel discussed clinical guidance based on these novel insights and provided an expert perspective on how to use these agents in the most optimal way.
