Educational objectives
The educational objectives of the symposium are to:
- Apply the CKM staging framework to identify and classify patients at different levels of syndromic severity
- Utilize CKM risk prediction algorithms that prioritize cardiorenal health to guide clinical decision-making
- Develop comprehensive, guideline-concordant treatment plans for patients with CKM syndrome, incorporating lifestyle interventions, appropriate pharmacological therapies, and interdisciplinary care approaches
- Integrate the latest clinical trial data and guideline recommendations to optimize cardiovascular risk reduction strategies in patients with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease
