Alan Tita is a John C. Hauth Professor and Senior Vice Chair for Research and Innovation in the Department of OBGYN at University of Alabama at Birmingham Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine. He is Associate Dean for Global and Women's Health and Director of the Center for Women's Reproductive Health where he oversees multiple studies that change practice and policy globally. His background is in maternal-fetal medicine, perinatal epidemiology and global health.
