IAS publishes Clinical Proceedings white paper on primary prevention in ASCVD

The International Atherosclerosis Society (IAS) published a clinical proceedings white paper on primary prevention in ASCVD.
In this white paper, an international panel of 5 experts summarizes primary prevention measures for ASCVD caused by LDL-c and other cardiometabolic risk factors. Due to the modifiability of many ASCVD risk factors, primary prevention is of great importance. Gaps in screening, diagnosis and management of LDL-c in primary prevention are discussed, as well as the evolving landscape of primary prevention measures for ASCVD.
